Their first meeting was Elizabeth and Philip were 13 and 18 years old respectively. Since then their love started to blossom. The couple got married to Westminister abbey in 1947. They were married for 73 before Prince Phillip’s sad demise in 2021.
Queen Anne of Romania and King Michael I of Romania
The Romanian royals got married in 1948. They were married for 68 years when Queen Anne died in 2016. King Michael I couldn’t bear the separation from his beloved and he also died the following year in 2017.

Japanese Emperor Akihito and his life partner Empress Michiko have been going hand in hand for the last 62 years. Their marriage took place in 1959. The couple is still very much in love with each other. Together they have 3 children and their eldest son is the current emperor in power.
Prince Edward and Katharine
The marriage of Prince Edward and Katharine Worsley has lasted for 6 decades. The couple met when they were both in their teen ages. They fell for each other and got married in 1961.

King George III who was crowned as the king at the age of 22, married Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in 1761. The couple was married for 57 years. George III was plagued by mental illness most of his life, but his wife never turned her back against him. She was with him till his last breath.
