People try all manner of things to help with their post-workout gains. But one man has taken things to another level from the usual protein shake, instead chowing down on raw, out-of-date meat.
A man on Twitter, going by the handle @BlazenBrady, shocked fellow users when he revealed his bizarre meal plan.
In a post to his account, he shared a photo of what his typical diet consists of, with raw steak and chicken sat alongside some bacon.
He wrote: "Post-workout meal: fresh raw chicken, week-old steak I left in my fridge, my favourite, bacon, raw butter, raw milk.
"Chicken is not bad at all and tastes fine. This meal is my standard meal I usually eat all the time, I eat mainly more steak over chicken though usually."
After receiving a lot of comments from people asking whether this was legit or not, Blazen shared a video of himself explaining why he does it - even munching on what appears to be raw poultry as he does.
Commenting on his posts, one user said: "Make sure you post when you're in the hospital with food poisoning."
Another chimed in: "I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. Take care of yourself, dude."
