The newly introduced Joyride service will kick off from April 1 till June 30 from Darjeeling and Ghum stations.
According to a statement issued by the Northeast Frontier Railway, “Total of 91 trips will be offered. The Darjeeling-Ghum-Darjeeling new summer special joyride train will depart from Darjeeling at 11.35 am and reach Ghum at 12.15 pm. It will return to Darjeeling at 1.15 pm.”.
Another train will leave from Darjeeling at 1.45 pm to reach Ghum at 2.25 pm and will reach back to Darjeeling at 3.30 pm. The joyride trains provide four first-class chair car coaches each. Tickets for the ride can be reserved online at irctc.co.in.
