The smartphone market is booming continuously and the customers are getting a wide range of options to buy a new smartphone. There are a wide range of devices in every price segment but a report shows that more than 35 percent of respondents are looking to buy a mid-range smartphone between Rs 15,000-Rs 25,000. This price range is the most desired for the festive season.
Tech giant Amazon conducted a survey in which they mentioned that Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus emerged as the most preferred smartphone brands. More than 24 per cent of respondents are looking to buy Samsung mobile phones, and are followed by Xiaomi and OnePlus.
Nishant Sardana, Amazon India’s Director, Mobile Phones and Televisions said “With the festive season just around the corner, the Great Indian Mobile Survey helps us understand the customer’s preferences and also allow us to know what smartphone shoppers are looking for during the season."
Over 54 per cent of respondents are looking for a 5G phone and a demand for a bigger battery was also prominent.
The survey reveals that the Redmi Note 10 Series, OnePlus Nord Series, OnePlus 9 Series and Samsung M21 and other Galaxy M series phones topped the popularity chart among the respondents. This survey included more than 10,000 customers and revealed interesting insights.
