Instagram rolls out new 'Link Stickers' to all users

The new Link stickers are now available for all users regardless of their verification status or number of followers

Instagram has finally announced a new update that from now on, all users now have access to its Link Sticker feature in the Insta Stories.

The new Link stickers are now available for all users regardless of their verification status or number of followers.

Instagram said, "We made this decision based on feedback we heard from the community about how impactful it would be for creators and businesses of all sizes to benefit from link sharing to grow in the same way larger accounts do."

The user can access this feature by selecting the sticker tool from the top navigation bar when any content is captured  or uploaded in the Story.

The user after selecting the “Link Sticker”option can add their chosen link and then tap “Done”. Then the user can place the sticker anywhere on the Story and then can tap on it to see the many colour variations.

The accounts which share any kind of hate speech and misinformation in the platform, and any other contents which directly violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines will not have any access to this new Link sticker.

The company said that their decision to expand Link Sticker access to everyone had been made very carefully, as the feature could impact the app’s uprightness and safety.
