iPhone 13 won't support satellite communications: Analysts

Many iPhone users want the upcoming iPhone model to be named ‘iPhone 2021’

The iPhone, which is surrounded with rumours that said the new processor chip will be having a low earth orbit satellite communication connectivity and will allow users to make calls and send messages to people even without any network coverage, is now being denied by some mobile analysts and communication experts.

They said that the speculation in the the market about the upcoming custom chip of iPhone 13 which can connect with the satellites is not true. They said that the iPhone might not be able to operate in that way.

According to analysts, the new Qualcomm chip has made a partnership with satellite company Globalstar but does not mean that the next iPhone will be able to communicate with satellites. The chip will be able to take advantage of satellite bands that were previously assigned to satellite service.

According to a recent poll conducted by the company, many iPhone users want the upcoming iPhone model to be named ‘iPhone 2021’ in place of ‘iPhone 13’.
