The first hot test of the System Demonstration Model of the Gaganyaan Service Module Propulsion System has been successfully conducted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The name for India's human space mission is Gaganyaan and so ISRO is making sure that no malfunctioning takes place.
The test was conducted for a duration of 7.5 minutes at the ISRO Propulsion Complex in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.
"The system performance met the test objectives and there was a close match with the pre-test predictions. Further, a series of hot tests are planned to simulate various mission conditions as well as off-nominal conditions," ISRO said.
ISRO is moving with a significant speed in order to achieve the best possible result for all their research.
