Qualcomm has entered the smartphone market with their first launch named “Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders”. It is made in partnership with Asus.
It is competing in the gaming phone segment with some very good specifications like the Snapdragon 888 chip, 144Hz AMOLED display, and up to 16 GB of RAM. It is considered a phone for the fans and enthusiasts of the company.
It is a customizable phone for the people who know who want to be different from others. Though it was a surprise to see that Qualcomm didn’t go for the Snapdragon 888 plus processor which was recently launched. The phone’s development started a year ago.
Priced at $1499 which in Indian rupees turns out to be Rs 1,12,000. A single variant is only available with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The phone will be available for sale in China, Germany, Japan, Korea, the US and the UK.
The Indian launch date and price are still not available. Right now it will only be available in a single Midnight Blue Colour.
It is the first flagship phone from the company. Asus has helped them to bring the phone idea into reality. Asus ROG is the best-selling smartphone in the segment. Snapdragon Insider will have a 5G support with a 6.78-inch screen. Battery life of 4000 mAh and a quick charge 5.0 which is estimated to fill the battery in 52 minutes.
