Samsung has now emerged as the India's biggest smartwatch manufacturer brand in the second quarter ending June 2021.
The reports from International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker shows that Samsung's smartwatch shipments had registered around 860 per cent year-on-year growth, taking the company to number one position in India.
The company is growing on the popularity of their smart watches like the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Watch 3 Series. They ended the June quarter with 41.2 percent volume market share.
The company has been working to pioneer smartwatch features that will enable the consumers to lead a healthy and rewarding life. They have recently opened pre-bookings for Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic in India.
They have priced the Galaxy Watch4 at Rs 23,999 and the Galaxy Watch4 Classic starts at Rs 31,999.
These two smartwatches are the first to feature the new Wear OS which they had built jointly with Google.
