Twitter is reported to be working on a new feature which will limit the toxic replies from users. The users can get the tools from the website. The tools allow the user to be more proactive in preventing them from going through harsh comments.
In the upcoming updates, those tools could have a feature that lets the user filter potentially offensive replies. Another feature will let you limit potentially unwelcome accounts from replying.
Paula Barcante, Twitter's Senior Product Designer has released a sneak peek of the features but are merely concepts at the moment. She said that Twitter will ask the user if they would like to switch on those controls if it detects potentially harmful replies to your tweets.
If the reply filter is on, then it won't show the user or anyone else but except the user who wrote the response.
If the user decides to limit unwanted accounts then the people who've recently shown patterns of breaking rules won't be able to reply to the tweets at all.
