WhatsApp will now stop working for some selected iPhones and Android smartphones from 1 November.
According to reports, the smartphone users who are still using Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, iOS 9, and KaiOS 2.5.0 will not be able to support WhatsApp. The messaging app will stop working on these operating systems.
The Facebook owned app released a list of Android phones which consists of smartphones from various companies like LG, Samsung, ZTE, Huawei, Sony, Alcatel, and others. So from 1 November all these phones will not receive support from WhatsApp and will be incompatible with the app.
WhatsApp is planning to launch new updates in the coming weeks to enhance the user experience and provide privacy and security. They are presently working on the update disappearing message that would disappear forever after just being viewed once.
