Paavan Nanda, the co-founder of Delhi-based gaming platform WinZO, said that the company has seen a 10 times more growth in the last 12 months and is planning to expand more by March 2022.
Meanwhile, WinZO has recently raised 65 million from Griffin Gaming Partners.
It is a platform which partners with the third party games developers to get them on their platform. Users can download the WinZO app and play popular multiplayer games which even allows them to win small monetary rewards.
Paavan said the team is “very excited to close their recent financing and even more excited about the new partnerships they have forged. They aim to continue to improve the product for users, add more games to the platform, and partner with more game developers”.
The company’s aim is to become the go-to gaming option in the Indian market. They offer the products in 12 different languages and about 90 percent of the users are from tier II cities. They offer 70+ games in 5+ formats to play. They are also aggressively working to launch more features for it.
Currently there are 50 million people registered on the app, and WinZO wants to make it 250 million by the end of 2022. Nanda believes that his product is relevant to 500 million people in India.
