Zoom announced that they are planning to extend their automated transcription to thirty languages and also might add a live translation for twelve languages in 2022.
The company released a statement in which they said, "We are committed to removing the barriers to effective and dynamic communication, and as part of that commitment, we're planning to extend Zoom's automated transcription to 30 languages and add live translation to 12 languages in the next year."
"Zoom connects users across the world, and this expansion of our transcription and translation features will help to overcome the language barrier that can prevent dynamic communication and collaboration," it added.
In the month of February, zoom said that it is working to make "automatic closed captioning" available for all the it's users to make the service more accessible.
They are also planning to launch a few other major changes which includes the whiteboard feature. This new well developed Zoom Whiteboard might be launched this year and will enable seamless, asynchronous collaboration across a wide range of devices while providing a more engaging and streamlined meeting experience.
They will also increase their privacy and security features and provide end-to-end encryption during one-on-one zoom calls.
