BCCI unveils schedule for remainder of IPL 2021 in UAE

IPL postponed in May this year due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic will resume on September 19 in UAE.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveils the schedule for the remainder of the 14th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday.

 

A total of 31 matches including the four playoffs will be played in the duration of 27 days which will start from September 19.

 

The 14th season of IPL was postponed in May this year due to the second wave the COVID-19 pandemic which now will resume on September 19 in Dubai with a knockstart clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

 

This the second successive year that the UAE will be hosting IPL 2021. The final match will be played on October 15 and will be hosted by Dubai.
