Sherfane Rutherford who was playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad will leave the bio-bubble of Indian Premier League (IPL), 2021 and will return home after the demise of his father.
The IPL team, Sunrisers Hyderabad to their official Twitter handle and informed, "The #SRH family conveys its heartfelt condolences to Sherfane Rutherford and his family on the passing away of his father."
SRH also wrote, "Sherfane will be leaving the IPL bio-bubble to be with his family in this difficult hour."
The player at the beginning went unsold in the IPL auction, was roped in by Hyderabad as a replacement for Jonny Bairstow after the Englishman pulled out from the rest of the league.
