# AB de Villiers


AB de Villiers the South African cricketer is known for his strike rate. ABD made his IPL debut in the first season when he represented the Delhi franchise before he shifted base to Bangalore in 2011. He has scored 5056 runs in the league so far with an average of 40.77 and an exceptional strike rate of 152.38.

 

#Glenn Maxwell


Glenn Maxwell is known as the ‘Big-Show’ of Australian cricket. Maxwell started in the IPL back in 2012 first with the Delhi franchise. Next year he was signed by Mumbai Indians, first million-dollar signing. He played with the franchise Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) 2014, in all the seasons subsequently, with the exception of one season at the Delhi franchise. In 2021, he started at the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp. He carries a career IPL strike rate of 153.32.

 

# Virender Sehwag


Virender Sehwag was probably one of the few players from the late 90s or early 2000s. He was the icon player of the Delhi franchise and he started his time with some mind-boggling performances. He played for Delhi till 2013 before shifting his base to Punjab. In total, he ended up playing 104 innings and managed to score 2728 runs at an average of 27.55. His strike rate of 155.44.

 

# Hardik Pandya


Hardik Pandya made his debut for Mumbai Indians in 2015. At the time, he was just a medium-pacer bowling all-rounder. In his debut season, Pandya scored a fifty against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium and staged a partnership with Kieron Pollard. After 80 IPL innings, he has managed to score 1401 runs at an average of 27.47, but his strike rate is 157.23. He has the highest strike rate for any Indian batter with more than 1000 runs in the IPL.

 

# Andre Russell


Andre Russel started IPL in 2012 with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals). Later he was signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders for the IPL 2014. The Jamaican all-rounder after playing 68 IPL innings, has scored 1680 runs with an average of 29.47. His strike rate of 179.29. He is one of the few batsmen who have hit more sixes than they have hit fours in the IPL.
