VVS Laxman likely to move NCA following Dravid's departure

Laxman was reluctant to take up NCA Director of Cricket offer but the board would once again approach him

Former India cricketer VVS Laxman can come back again to head the National Cricket Academy if the post falls vacant in the coming days.

As per source, Laxman might not continue as the mentor of IPL side Sunrisers Hyderabad and if he is selected in the position, he would also have to leave his media commitments which includes commentary and writing columns.

The national coach and the NCA head are expected to work closely. It is found that Dravid and Laxman, who have had a close bond would be the perfect choice.

Laxman was reluctant to take up the NCA Director of Cricket offer but the board would once again approach him.

If he again turns down the offer again, then the board would have to look for other options. It is also known that Anil Kumble is another big name.
