8 killed after passenger ferry overturns in Southwest China

The mishap took place on the Zangke River in the China's Southwest region

Atlanta eight people have lost their lives after a passenger ferry that was carrying 46 people capsized on Saturday in China's Guizhou Province.
 
Local media reported that sven people are still missing in the accident.The new agency Xinhua reports that the mishap took place on the Zangke River in the China's Southwest region It also informed that as per the local time, the mishap took place at 8:10 in the morning  on Sunday.
 
The agency informed that around39 people were rescued, with nearly 31 in non-life-threatening conditions.The country's authorities stated that the ferry was designed to carry 40 people but they were still checking the exact number of passengers. An investigation into the mishap and rescue operation are underway.
