With the coronavirus outbreak ongoing for the past two years, a new virus is seen affecting people in the United Kingdom.
A new virus - 'Norovirus' cases are being found in the people of England. Till now 154 people have been found to be infected by this virus since May.
Public Health England has issued a warning making people aware after seeing a massive leap in the number of cases. It is roughly three times the case as compared to the average of the previous five years.
Norovirus is nothing but a winter bug which is generally seen to attack people during the months of winter. It can affect a person when he or she comes in contact with a sick and contaminated person. It is a highly transmutable virus which when active causes vomiting and diarrhoea.
When the virus enters a person’s body it takes 12-14 hours for incubation and in most cases it eases down after 1-3 days after being affected. The symptoms of the virus include diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea and stomach pain.
