Bitcoin trades above $52000, ether and dogecoin surges

Bitcoin had hit a record of almost USD 65,000 in April and is up around 79 percent this year

Bitcoin has been making waves in the crypto market over the last few days. Bitcoin had a price of USD 51,729.03 on Monday.

 

Bitcoin was up 3.40 percent over the last 24 hours and the coin has been trading in the green over the last 24 hours as well.

 

As per CoinDesk, Bitcoin had hit a record of almost USD 65,000 in April and is up around 79 percent this year (year-to-date).

 

The coin linked to the ethereum blockchain, Ether had rose near 1 percent to USD 3,928.58 after briefly surge above USD 4,000 last week for the first time since May 15.

 

While, dogecoin prices were up 4 percent to USD 0.31, whereas, Cardano prices rose nearly 2 percent to USD 2.89.

 

Other cryptocurrencies including Stellar, Uniswap, Litecoin also jumped over the last 24 hours in the market.

 

As per to the CoinGecko data, numerous cryptocurrencies have been trading well and the overall crypto market capital is USD 2.36 trillion, after bottoming at USD 1.24 trillion on July 20.
