The central Henan province of China witnessed the country's heaviest rainfall in 1,000 years, on Wednesday.
Zhengzhou, on the banks of the Yellow river and it is also a massively hit area of all. Weather forecasters have claimed that this is the highest rainfall ever since 1,000 years.
So far, 12 cases have been reported of death due to floods and more than 1,00,000 people were shifted to safe zones by the authorities.
More than dozens of city roads are underwater. The flood control headquarters of Guo Jia Zui has seen exceeding water levels in various rivers, several dams too got damaged. Following the devastating situation, railways and flights services were cancelled.
