Facebook has taken steps and made a dedicated team of Afghan experts to monitor and remove content linked to Taliban.
The terror organization Taliban used social media to spread it's messages among the users for support and recruitment in their group.
A Facebook spokesperson said that the company banned them from services under their organisation policies which meant they can remove accounts maintained by the Taliban and stop any praise, support, and representation of them.
They also said that they have no opinion about the recognition of national government and will follow the authority of the international community. They also highlighted that the policy will be applicable to all of its platforms including Instagram and WhatsApp.
There are reports that proves Taliban is using WhatsApp to communicate and Facebook said that it would take action if found any app linked to the group.
