The novel coronavirus has been a huge issue for Indian cricketers in fact few players get infected while the some players’ family members got infected.
In this case Sundar’s father to keep his son Covid-free, has shifted himself into another house.
His father explain to media the reason behind this: “Since Washington returned home from the IPL, I have been staying in another house. My wife and daughter are staying with Washington since they don’t step out of the house. I am only seeing him on video calls. I am having to go to office a few days in a week. I don’t want him to contract Covid because of me.”
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also asked the players to remain extra cautious in order to keep themselves away from the virus.
The BCCI has also put a strict schedule in place ahead of the players' departure on June 02. The UK-bound players will undergo 14 days' quarantine before flying to Southampton on June 02.
