Kuwait to deport expats who took part in protest over Prophet row

According to officials, expats who took part in a protest in Fahaheel will be arrested and deported

According to official sources of Kuwait, expats who took part in the protest over Prophet row will be deported as they violated the laws and regulations of Kuwait which stipulates that sit-ins or demonstrations by expats are not to be organised in the country.

Some expats took part in a demonstration in Fahaheel of Kuwait, against the remarks on Prophet Muhammad by BJP spokespersons. The Kuwait administration instructed to arrest all expats part of Fahaheel protest on Friday.

The expats part of the protest will reportedly be banned from entering the country.

"All expats in Kuwait must respect Kuwait laws and not take part in any type of demonstrations," the government said in a release.
