NASA has again shared some breath-taking pictures, as usual in its official Instagram account. This time it’s of Turkey!! The picture was taken by the International Space Station (ISS) on May 10 as it orbited 263 miles above the Black Sea.


NASA in official Instagram account stated while sharing the picture “Check out the night lights of one of Turkey's cities, split by the Bosphorus Strait and the Golden Horn! This image was captured on May 10, 2021 from the International Space Station (@ISS) as it orbited 263 miles above the Black Sea.”


Then it also stated:” Fun fact: these @NASAastronauts images aren’t just for aesthetics. We use them for science too! The photographs record how the planet is changing over time, from human-caused changes like urban growth and reservoir construction, to natural dynamic events such as hurricanes, floods and volcanic eruptions.”
