The United Arab Emirates has agreed to host 5,000 Afghan people who will be evacuated from Afghanistan after the city fell in the hands of Taliban, on their way to third countries. The refugees will be transported to the UAE from Kabul on an US aircraft.
On Wednesday, the government of UAE announced that they were hosting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his family on humanitarian grounds after the family fled from Kabul.

They said that they would respect the decision of the citizens of Afghanistan and urged the Taliban to develop security and stability after fighting a 20-year war against the US backed government.
