US lawmaker says Pakistan played key role in Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan

He also pointed out the crimes committed against the religious minorities of Pakistan

A top Republican lawmaker had allegedly blamed Pakistan and ISI had played a key role in supporting and supplying the Taliban and allowing them to take over Afghanistan.


He also criticised and said he felt disgusted to watch the capital city Islamabad celebrate the terrorist group’s victory which will bring terror to Afghans.


Congressman Steve Chabot also applauded the Indian government for giving refuge to the Afghan religious minorities who will be persecuted by the Taliban.


He also pointed out the crimes committed against the religious minorities of Pakistan which includes the heinous practice of the kidnapping and forcefully converting them to Islam and forced marriage of underage Hindu girls to older Muslim men.


He pointed out that how these crimes had been documented by major news organisations and human rights groups.
