US preps for more ISIS attacks after recent blasts at Kabul

The US government and troops have fortified the perimeter of the airport and are ready to Counter further attacks from ISIS. The terrorist group has taken responsibility for the bombing and claimed lives of people who were trying to run away from Taliban rule.
 
As of now, the death tolls have climbed to 103 and the numbers are still rising. Videos shot by journalists showed  numerous bodies around a canal on the edge of the airport.
 
As per reports, the terrorist group targeted the translators and collaborators associated with the American army. The US officials also blamed ISIS and vowed for revenge. "We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay," Biden said during televised comments from the White House.
 
US commanders are on high alert for attacks by ISIS including possible rockets or vehicle-borne bombs targeting the airport, said General Frank McKenzie, head of US Central Command.
 
US forces are working throughout to complete their withdrawal by 31 August as set by President Joe Biden. In the last 12 days, 100,000 people have been evacuated.
